Our brothers Knights of Columbus Angels Gate Council (covering the 3 San Pedro parishes: St. Peter's, Mary Star & Holy Trinity) will be hosting a full-day pro-life symposium on June 14 Saturday at Mary Star (starting at 9:30am) - featuring guest speakers Trent Horn (Catholic Answers), Dr. Peggy Hartshorn (Heartbeat International) & Fr. Alan Benander (Norbertines of St. Michael's Abbey). The theme is "Culture of Life & Culture of Love", and we aim to help our attendees (1) understand “What it means to be a Pro-Life Catholic” and (2) find “Simple Ways on how to be Actively Pro-Life."

We celebrate the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary, on March 19th. This occasion is an opportunity to recite a novena to St. Joseph, a 9-day prayer used for petitions, implore favors, or obtain graces.

The Archdiocese of Los Angeles has established a Wildfire Victims Emergency Relief Fund to help the victims of the recent wildfires. There will be a special second collection at parishes in the Archdiocese for the fund to help those who are suffering and have lost so much through these devastating events.
