Pope Francis named four of our brother priests as auxiliary bishops for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Father Matthew Elshoff OFM was pastor of St. Lawrence of Brindisi Catholic Church in Watts (will server Our Lady of the Angels Region);

Father Slawomir Szkredka, was associate professor of biblical studies at St. John's Seminary in California (for the Santa Barbara Region).

Msgr. Albert Bahhuth was serving as pastor of Holy Family Church South Pasadena (will serve as Episcopal Vicar for the San Fernando Region);

Father Brian Nunes was the vicar general of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles (for the San Gabriel Region).
